EBulletin for June 24, 2016
Shalom ZOA Members, Friends and Supporters of Israel,
We had a real treat earlier this week and many of you were there to experience it with us as Greater Philadelphia ZOA presented “An Evening With Ryan Bellerose.” For those of you who were not able to make it to the event or for those who want an opportunity to hear Bellerose’s many words of wisdom and encouragement once again, the video of his presentation is now available via our Web site: www.philly.zoa.org. See more about the event, where to watch the video and a photo collage later in this EBulletin.
Greater Philadelphia ZOA Needs Volunteers
Philadelphia ZOA is looking for volunteers to help us with research, to make calls and participate in mailings in the coming weeks as we gear up for our biggest event of the year: The Annual Philadelphia ZOA Gala.
The Gala takes place on Sept. 15.
Some of the tasks can be done from your home or office. Mailings take place in the Bala Cynwyd vicinity.
If you can lend us some of your skills and time, please call our Office at 610-660-9466 and ask for Steve.
Thank you
We are grateful that Congregation Mikveh Israel welcomed us into their charming Social Hall as Greater Philadelphia ZOA was back in Center City after a lengthy absence. More than 70 people attended, coming from Delaware, Bucks County and points in between. Others who spoke at the event were Mikveh Israel’s Rabbi Albert Gabbai; Hillel Zaremba from the Israeli Consulate, who brought greetings from the Israeli government; and Greater Philadelphia ZOA Co-President Kevin Ross. Steve Feldman, Greater Philadelphia ZOA’s executive director, welcomed attendees and moderated the question-and-answer session. Thank you to our many volunteers, and event sponsors Gene Shusman and Henry Frank.
