EBulletin for September 30, 2016

Shalom ZOA Members, Friends and Supporters of Israel,

We are thrilled to be able to present video from Greater Philadelphia ZOA’s 2016 Gala. Please enjoy and benefit from the speeches, prayers, award presentations and music from the Gala.

It truly was a wonderful evening, and whether you were in the Hilton ballroom and witnessed it in person and would like to re-live it, or if you were not able to be there but want to hear our speakers’ important messages plus experience what you missed, please click on the You Tube link below to watch the award ceremony at your leisure. If there is interest, we may offer copies of the Gala on DVD for purchase. Contact our Office at 610-660-9466.

We are still working on getting the Gala Tribute Book posted on the Web and hope to have it available for you to enjoy next week.

Greater Philadelphia ZOA Board Members To Be Honored

Our friends at Aish  Philadelphia are honoring Greater Philadelphia ZOA Board Members Jonathan and Bonnie Pontell and two other couples at their annual gala on Nov. 22. The Pontells are richly deserving of this recognition. There are opportunities to support the honoring of the Pontells by attending the Aish Gala or by purchasing an ad in the tribute book. Friends: We are looking for many volunteers for the “Buy Israel” Festival to make sure that this event is the success that it needs to be.

We need volunteers now to recruit with Israeli businesses to exhibit at the Festival, and we will need volunteers the day of the event to set up, help out during the event and to clean up. If you are interested in helping, please contact us at 610-660-9466 or office@zoaphilly.org

Out & About

Greater Philadelphia ZOA Executive Director Steve Feldman addressed a Men’s Club brunch at Congregation Beth El Ner Tamid last Sunday, discussing a history of the peace process as well as “effective strategic advocacy.” To book a Greater Philadelphia ZOA speaker for your congregation, organization or event, call our Office at 610-660-9466.

A conceptual image giving the idea that opportunities can sometimes be a bit puzzling.

Greater Philadelphia ZOA needs volunteers to do research and/or make calls. These tasks can be done from your home or office. If you have some time you can lend us, please call our Office: 610-660-9466. Thank you.
